The Wheel of Infinity

This item is a hexagon that floats of its own accord. The wheel is designed so that when you start it spinning it starts spinning faster and faster and grows in size while it spins. Once it reaches its maximum size the wheel explodes destroying everything around it. The faster the wheel is spun when it is initally started the faster it will gain momentum and grow towards its explosion. The speed of the wheel can be changed in mid-spin.

For example if someone were to start it spinning very slowly the wheel would potentially spin for a thousand years before it exploded. If someone were to start spinning it very quickly it could explode within minutes.

The wheel can be moved if you can manage to hit its AC. The item is AC -1 [20]. When the wheel explodes it destroys everything within 10 d20 yards of it. Once this artifact has exploded it ceases to exist. It is a 1 of a kind artifact. This artifact is very powerful and would be very well guarded should its posessors know what it is.
